At the age of 6 she was able to win a surfing contest using a run-down board that she found in a trash can outside of her home. She began her journey into surfing at the age of five years old and had won her first surf competition at the age of six. At age 7 she was able to secure a sponsor. Anastasia Ashley posed in 2014 for Sport's Illustrated Magazine and Maxim Magazine. In 2014 she started an private Gypsy Jet Set jewelry line in collaboration with OK1984 the jewelry brand.
